<h2>Job Description</h2><div>Job Description<div><p>Sun East Federal Credit Union is currently seeking a <strong>Member Relationship Advisor </strong>to join our Member Relationship Department. The <strong>Member Relationship Advisor</strong> is responsible for generating new accounts and loans by assisting potential and existing members with their deposit and lending needs. In this role the Member Relationship Advisor will respond to member inquiries and referrals received from the Call Center, open new member deposit accounts through the online channel, utilize data sources and other available resources to make outbound phone calls to capture member loans currently with other institutions. This role will analyze loan requests and communicate credit decisions based on lending policy. In addition, this role will service and complete all loan applications submitted by branch representatives. </p><p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Utilizes data sources and other available resources to generate new loans and new accounts.</li><li>Achieves or exceeds minimum established individual loan volume and sales goals each month</li><li>Develops and maintains knowledge of all lending products and rates within the credit union.</li><li>Responds to member inquiries concerning loans.</li><li>Completes regular outbound calls to generate new business.</li><li>Reviews and evaluates information on loan documents to determine if buyer, property, and loan conditions meet credit union and regulatory standards</li><li>Communicates preliminary loan decision to all involved parties in a timely manner.</li><li>Communicates final loan approval or rejection to members.</li><li>Structures loan applications for most favorable loan decision.</li><li>Promotes the credit union's lending program externally.</li><li>Continually identify; develop and maintain a quality network of business relationships that serve as a recurring source of referrals.</li><li>Explains the credit union's electronic services such as SUNNY, Online Banking, Bill Pay services and Mobile Banking.</li><li>Answers members' questions and solves members' problems involving loan accounts and products.</li><li>Troubleshoots and resolves member and internal inquiries in a timely, friendly and accurate manner.</li><li>Explains current promotions of all products; calculates loan payments.</li><li>Responsible for completing new accounts accurately.</li><li>Successfully demonstrate effective selling skills and behaviors.</li><li>Exhibit a thorough knowledge of credit union products and services sold.</li><li>Complete the expected level of product certifications and training.</li><li>Maintain accurate sales records.</li><li>Demonstrates in depth knowledge of Credit Unions and the Credit Union Movement, Credit Union organizational values, products and services, mission statement and vision statement.</li><li>Cross-sells members on all credit union products and services and refers members to Sun East Retirement & Investment Services (SERIS) when appropriate.</li><li>Ensures all loan applications are completed in compliance with lending policies, procedures, rules, and regulations.</li><li>Responsible for scanning all new account and existing member account files and documents accurately and in a timely manner.</li><li>Supports the Mobile Branch at Community Events, SEG visits and other events, as needed.</li><li>Become a member of a local network.</li></ul><p><strong>Requirements:</strong></p><ul><li>High School Diploma or Equivalent</li><li>1 to 3 years of similar or related experience</li><li>Proven track record of loan origination in a sales/commissioned environment</li><li>Familiarity with automated underwriting systems and loan origination systems </li><li>Proven ability to sell while building lasting relationships</li><li>Good public relations skills; basic typing and math skills; good reasoning and problem-solving skills; self-starter; ability to communicate effectively; PC familiarity with report writing skills</li></ul><p>The Member Relationship Advisor earns a competitive wage, depending on experience.
