The Production Team Member is a member of the Quality Production Team and will be responsible for contributing to the hands-on production of the Companys world-class vehicles and/or electric vehicle powertrains. Excellent attendance is crucial for a team to achieve success. He/she must have the ability to work with various teams across departments. They will also be required to work closely with engineering, quality, and suppliers in various aspects of the overall manufacturing process. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are an absolute requirement to establish effective working relationships within Company and outside.

**2nd Shift**

You Will:

  • Work as an integral part of the production team to ensure smooth operations and efficient output
  • Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines
  • Perform various tasks including assembly, packaging, and machine operation, as necessary
  • Follow standardized operating procedures and ensure adherence to quality control standards
  • Adherence to Environmental Health and Safety standards including Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) required by job assignment
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, including regular equipment maintenance and cleaning
  • Assist in the continuous improvement of production processes and identify opportunities for increased efficiency
  • Strictly adhere to safety protocols and promote a safe working environment for all staff members
  • Physical work includes frequent pushing, pulling, gripping, twisting, reaching, lifting, standing, repetitive motions, etc.
  • Lifting objects at various load levels.
  • Use of tooling that requires specialized training
  • Demonstrated ability to learn new skills and adapt to new environments
  • Comfortable learning innovative technology
  • Flexibility to support any shift including day, night, and swing shifts, as needed. Weekend and holiday work may be required
  • Punctuality and attendance are paramount
  • Ability to follow a required sequence of steps in a process repetitively for a long time
  • Ability to maintain rate of production while maintaining an elevated level of craftsmanship and attention to detail
  • Other duties as assigned

You Bring:

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent required
  • Basic math skills for measurements and calculations
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must have command of the English language both written & verbal
  • All potential employees will be required to pass a comprehensive background check
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
  • Good physical stamina and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills
  • Ability to stand, stoop, walk, lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) and perform similar actions during the workday
  • At least two years of experience operating MHE equipment such as sit down forklift, tow motor, order pickers, and pallet jacks strongly preferred
