Production Worker
The Hartsville Converting Operations has an opening for a Production Worker. This position will be under the general direction of the Winding Shift Supervisor.
The successful candidate must have a very good record in the areas of safety, work history, attendance and housekeeping. Candidates must be self-motivated, have excellent problem-solving skills and a positive attitude. This position rotates 1st and 2nd shifts, up to 12 hours shifts, but the candidate must be willing to work o/t, weekends, and holidays.
Day to day responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- responsible for safely and efficiently assisting machine tenders or others with the physical requirements of the assigned operations
- require operating small hand-type or less complicated equipment
- removing tubes from overhead dryer chain conveyor
- loading tubes on trucks and labeling them properly
- placing scrap on carts to be hauled away
- inspection and packing tubes
- other essential duties as assigned
Base rate: $ 16.33/hr.
