As a Principal within our Field Service practice you will work closely with our clients and be responsible for advising, overseeing and developing strategic solutions for complex client situations and programs. The ideal candidate has deep expertise in the Salesforce platform and can position an SFS solution within the broader technology stack.<br><br>We find that successful candidates typically display the following traits:<br><br><ul><li>Comfortable in a client-facing role</li><li>Enjoy building relationships</li><li>Effective communicator that works well in a collaborative team setting</li><li>Can interpret complex information and communicate it effectively to business & technical stakeholders</li><li>Enjoy dealing with ambiguity</li><li>Create innovative solutions to address client’s challenges<br><br></li></ul><strong>What You’ll Do<br><br></strong><ul><li>Translate business requirements into well-architected solutions that best leverage the Salesforce platform</li><li>Participate in solution design sessions and develop detailed technical solution documentation that is aligned with client business objectives</li><li>Participate and lead requirements gathering / workshop sessions with clients</li><li>Participate and lead user story creation, backlog creation, backlog grooming, story point allocation, and other Scrum related ceremonies</li><li>Participate and lead documentation deliverable activities including user journey mapping, project roadmaps, project plans, blueprints, and capability mapping</li><li>Develop, test, and document working custom configuration and data migration elements of a Salesforce implementation</li><li>Configure custom solutions and interfaces leveraging the Salesforce platform</li><li>Provide thought-leadership around Salesforce Field Service</li><li>Help educate the client and internal team around SFS data setup & optimization</li><li>Able to execute test plans to ensure a quality solution is delivered</li><li>Participate in the creation of detailed estimates and work breakdown structure for assigned project tasks and deliverables</li><li>Participate in Pre-Sales activities including client oral presentations, client demos, project scoping sessions, and general sales pursuit activities as needed</li><li>Participate in sales and delivery enablement activities including enablement asset creation and enablement session delivery as needed</li><li>Travel Requirements: Willingness to travel up to 50%.<br><br></li></ul><strong>What You’ll Bring<br><br></strong><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline or equivalent</li><li>Proven ability to develop and optimize integrated business processes across disparate systems</li><li>6+ years of Salesforce platform and configuration experience including but not limited to:</li><ul><li>Sharing Settings and Sharing Rules</li><li>Profile and Permission Set Management</li><li>Page Layouts and Lightning Record Pages</li><li>Custom Objects, Custom Fields, Validation Rules, and Formulas</li><li>Approval Processes and Workflow Rules</li><li>Declarative automation tools including Flow and Process Builder</li><li>Deployment Activities including Sandbox Management, Sharing Sets, and Data Migration<br></li></ul></ul><strong>About Us<br><br></strong>Slalom is a fiercely human business and technology consulting company that leads with outcomes to bring more value, in all ways, always. For this role, we are hiring at the following levels and targeted base pay salary ranges:<br><br><ul><li>East Bay, San Francisco, Silicon Valley: </li><li>Principal: $184,000-$225,000</li><li>Senior Consultant: $167,000-$203,000</li><li>San Diego, Los Angeles, Orange County, Seattle, Boston, Houston, New Jersey, New York City, Washington DC, Westchester: </li><li>Principal: $169,000–$206,000</li><li>Senior Consultant: $153,000–$186,000</li><li>All other locations: </li><li>Principal: $155,000-$189,000</li><li>Senior Consultant: $140,000-$171,000<br><br></li></ul>In addition, individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. Actual compensation will depend upon an individual’s skills, experience, qualifications, location, and other relevant factors.
