Role Overview and Core Responsibilities This role exists to provide strong operational ownership and governance over billing for the Tubs and Phoenix Business Units, ensuring billing accuracy, regulatory compliance, scalable processes, and a consistent customer billing experience as the business continues to grow globally. The Senior Billing Lead aligns closely with the Global Billing Manager to support the operations and governance of the company’s billing function for the Tubs and Phoenix Business Units. The role ensures accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in invoicing and revenue recognition across all regions, balancing local regulatory requirements with global business objectives. This position drives standardization, automation, and continuous improvement in billing processes while partnering closely with Finance, Sales, Legal, IT, and Operations. Partner with Global Process Leadership and the Global Billing Manager to execute billing strategies that support business growth and scalability. Lead, mentor, and manage billing teams, ensuring consistent global standards while meeting local regulatory and compliance requirements. Oversee end‑to‑end billing for the Tubs and Phoenix Business Units, ensuring timely, accurate, and compliant invoicing. Maintain strong billing controls and audit mechanisms to ensure compliance with GAAP and local tax regulations (e.g., VAT, GST). Partner with Finance leadership on revenue assurance, forecasting support, and month‑end and quarter‑end close activities. Collaborate with Legal and Compliance to ensure contracts are billable, compliant, and aligned with regulatory requirements. Define and monitor KPIs and dashboards to track billing performance, accuracy, and cycle times. Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on standardization, automation, efficiency, and error reduction. Required Knowledge and Experiences 10+ years of progressive experience in billing operations, with at least 5 years in a people leadership role. Demonstrated success leading billing functions within a multinational organization. Strong knowledge of revenue recognition principles and billing compliance requirements. Experience with enterprise resource planning (ERP) and billing systems such as PeopleSoft, Salesforce, and HighRadius (preferred). Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
