About the Role

The Spa Manager oversees daily operations of a Slick Rock Tanning & Spa location, leading the team to achieve and surpass revenue goals while delivering exceptional client service. This role is responsible for driving sales performance, controlling costs, optimizing staffing, and building a high-performing team culture through coaching, mentorship, and accountability.


This position is ideal for a results-driven leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys developing people while growing revenue and retention.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead and align team efforts to exceed revenue goals, retention, and client loyalty targets
  • Recruit, interview, and hire top talent to meet staffing needs and position requirements
  • Track and evaluate daily, weekly, and monthly sales performance and set goals accordingly
  • Conduct 1:1 meetings, performance evaluations, coaching, and corrective actions per company policy
  • Develop future leaders through continuous mentorship, including supporting the ASM’s growth
  • Execute promotional rollouts, distribute marketing materials, and lead adoption of best practices
  • Communicate and implement company initiatives, policies, and processes consistently
  • Ensure every client receives outstanding service and resolve client concerns professionally
  • Foster a positive, motivated, and cohesive team culture
  • Lead by example with strong standards, professionalism, and accountability
  • Build staff schedules to meet workflow and sales needs while avoiding unnecessary overtime
  • Perform other duties as assigned

What You Bring

  • 3+ years of experience in the beauty or wellness industry (managerial/supervisory preferred)
  • 4+ years of progressive leadership experience
  • Strong sales performance mindset with the ability to coach and develop a team
  • Ability to analyze sales data, identify trends, and take action to improve results
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and stay adaptable and accountable
  • Proficiency with MS Office, Windows, Google Suite, and similar software
  • High emotional intelligence and ability to build strong team relationships
  • High School Diploma or GED required (Bachelor’s preferred in business or related field)
