<h2>Job Description</h2><div>Job Description<div>Salary: 75,000 - 100,000<br /><p>Summary: Provide supply chain management and data during new business development and new program launches and for existing customer programs. Support and ensure DCMA, ITAR, FARS and DFARS compliance.</p><p><br><br></p><p>Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:</p><p></p><ul><li>Support New Business Development<ul><li>Provide supply chain information to sales department staff as needed</li><li>Conduct preliminary purchase parts risk assessment</li><li>Provide purchased parts cost and lead time estimates</li><li>Identify and qualify outside manufacturing partners</li></ul></li><li>Support Program Launch and Product Realization as functional department representative assigned to team and Program Manager <ul><li>Review program information to understand application, product intent and functionality and overall product requirements to ensure customer specifications communicated to suppliers address all needs.</li><li>Review customer specifications and drawings and ensure sufficient to communicate required specifications for purchase parts to suppliers.</li><li>Identify certification, traceability, environmental or other regulatory requirements for all components procured.</li><li>Identify, source and qualify suppliers and negotiate supplier agreements.</li><li>Secure necessary supplier Non-Disclosure Agreements</li><li>Negotiate component costs, lead times, terms and conditions for initial purchases</li><li>Communicate customer requirements and supplier capability</li><li>Confirm supplier warranty terms</li><li>Assist with preparation of Process Flow Diagrams, Failure Mode Effective Analysis and Control Plan</li><li>Assist suppliers with validation protocol design and final approval as required</li><li>Manage and define sample requirements and approve purchased part tooling</li><li>Ensure tool ownership and warranty is defined</li><li>Ensure an understanding of supplier capacity, yield and cost structure</li><li>Complete purchased part and outside process qualifications, approval and submit customer approval forms (CAF)</li></ul></li></ul><p></p><ul><li>Prepare Component Quality Requirements (CQRs) and review with incoming inspection personnel and ensure appropriate equipment is in place to execute inspection.</li><li>Procure prototypes, pre-production materials and test equipment</li><li>Attend program team meetings to address supplier-related matters</li><li>Perform assigned activity in a timely manner</li></ul><p></p><ul><li>Provide continuous supplier engineering support through program end of life<ul><li>Maintain and update short and long-term supply and sourcing strategies</li><li>Negotiate annual contracts with suppliers</li><li>Continuously pursue supply chain cost reductions to enhance profitability</li><li>Develop Flow Charts for parts process, design and tooling</li><li>Maintain Component Quality Requirements records</li><li>Confirm receipt of supplier warranty agreements</li><li>Support and/or inspect incoming products as required</li><li>Review and disposition line fallout</li><li>Ensure NPMRs are completed and details are communicated to supplier and team and product is returned/repaired/credited as needed.</li><li>Identify root cause of component-related issues and review and approve supplier Corrective Actions/Preventative Actions (CAPAs)</li><li>Perform supplier audits as required</li><li>Attend program team meetings as necessary to resolve vendor/supply chain issues to maintain customer satisfaction</li><li>Provide support to other departments to set and achieve program goals to maintain total customer satisfaction</li><li>Support QBRs with customers and provide/present supplier performance and supply chain related matters</li></ul></li><li>Frequent domestic and occasional international travel to suppliers required</li><li>Other duties as assigned</li></ul><p></p><p>Competency:</p><p>To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies always in a respectful professional manner:</p><p>Analytical - Collects and researches data; Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
