The Opportunity

This role owns the Target relationship end‑to‑end, acting as the commercial leader responsible for strategy, execution, and performance.

You will:

  • Define and deliver a long‑term JBP

  • Lead engagement with Target’s Senior Buying and Merchant teams

  • Drive omni‑channel growth across in‑store and digital

  • Partner internally to ensure consistent, high‑quality execution

This role carries full commercial accountability and high visibility.


What You’ll Be Accountable For

You will:

  • Lead a 3‑year JBP with Target focused on profitable growth

  • Serve as the primary senior contact for Target’s Buying Leadership

  • Deliver aggressive share, sales, and profit growth

  • Optimise assortment, shelving, and inventory through data‑led decisions

  • Drive POS acceleration, merchandising, and customer education

  • Ensure omni‑channel alignment across sales and marketing strategies

  • Deliver innovation through disciplined planning and execution

  • Establish performance standards, KPIs, and continuous improvement

  • Build strong internal partnerships across Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain and Finance

  • Provide market, competitive, and strategic insight to senior stakeholders

  • Lead, develop, and motivate high‑performing teams


Who This Role Is For

This role is for a senior Target account leader with a strong reputation.

You are likely:

  • A Target Director / Lead / Senior Sales Leader

  • Trusted by Target as a strategic partner

  • Experienced in managing complex, high‑growth accounts

You must have:

  • 10+ years of account leadership experience in CPG

  • Proven success managing Target with strong internal relationships

  • Significant P&L and commercial ownership

  • Experience driving POS, merchandising, and omni‑channel growth

  • Strong cross‑functional leadership capability

  • Track record of building and leading high‑performance teams
