Duties

  • Prepare and serve a variety of food and beverages with speed and precision, ensuring high standards of quality and presentation
  • Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to process sales accurately and efficiently
  • Provide exceptional customer service by taking orders, upselling menu items, and addressing guest inquiries with enthusiasm
  • Handle cash transactions responsibly, including cash handling and basic math calculations for change and totals
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen, dining area, and food prep stations in accordance with food safety regulations
  • Assist with food handling tasks such as bussing tables, stocking supplies, and ensuring food safety protocols are followed
  • Support team members during peak hours by managing multiple responsibilities like cashiering, food prep, and customer assistance

Requirements

  • Previous experience in food preparation or quick service & fast-food restaurant environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is key!
  • Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
  • Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy shifts
  • Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and strong communication abilities
  • Ability to handle cash accurately and perform basic math calculations quickly
  • Knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures
  • Experience working in a café, retail store, grocery store or restaurant environment is advantageous
  • Capable of standing for extended periods while maintaining energy and focus throughout shifts
